Our mission at VOE is solely to promote diversity in our community by starting with the youth. In a national community that consists of various backgrounds, beliefs, and ideas, it is more important than ever for everyone to understand the true power of diversity and what it means to society. And this is where the idea for VOE came from. It becomes more and more common everyday for professional companies to include diversity training for their workers to ensure a kind and peaceful workspace. However, if the youth were to be exposed to diversity and taught about how it is an imperative part of our every day lives, the issue of diversity training would be eliminated from the beginning. In other words, VOE works to provide a fun, child friendly version of diversity training for students in order to take the first step towards combatting this issue as early as possible.
